Sir! No Sir!
This timely film by director David Zeiger won the Audience Award for
Best Documentary at the 2005 Los Angeles Independent Film Festival and
the Jury Award for Best Documentary at the 2005 Hamptons Film Festival.
Zeiger’s film dispels the myth that opposition to the Vietnam War came
strictly from outside the military in this re-telling of the
underground coffeehouses, publications, boycotts and peace marches
motivated by the anti-war GI movement. Variety has remarked, “Sir! No
Sir! rings with an exultant, even elevated tone... Perfectly timed with
new doubts about the Iraq war...”
Andrew Harvey on Sacred Activism
(2005; 66min)
Andrew Harvey, Oxford scholar and visionary, believes that our survival
depends on Sacred Activism, a fusion of profound mystical awareness,
passion, clarity and sacred practice with wise, dedicated, radical
action. This fusion, he warns, may be the sole key to preservation of
man and nature.
