For Ojai Poetry Lovers

Poet and GTD techno-guy Robert Peake was featured in an Ojai Valley News article recently...read more over at Robert's site...

When Robert Peake moved to Ojai from Los Angeles nearly two years ago, he thought he was leaving behind a thriving community of poetry readings. Then he discovered a monthly reading series at the Bell Arts Factory in Ventura. "Apparently the series started in June. I went to the July reading and was blown away," Peake says, "The commitment to poetry in that room was easily on par with other series where I have been featured, such as the World Stage in Los Angeles and Beyond Baroque in Venice."

Hey, Tyler - thanks for the shout-out. I'd really love to see as many people from Ojai there as possible!

It's the weekend just after thanksgiving - November 25th at 7:30 PM at the fantastic Bell Arts Factory in Ventura. Directions from Ojai are on my site.

Honestly, I thinnk the event is suitable even for non-poetry-lovers! Nobody likes esoteric nonsense, and especially not me. :) So you won't hear any of that.

This is just a great community of positive people reading poems that don't require a PhD to enjoy. Bring a poem. Have some fun. See you there.
