The Gentle Wind Project

from a reader...

For over 20 years The Gentle Wind Project has been offering a healing technology in the form of hand-held Healing Instruments that repair and restore each person's non-physical, energetic structure where the hurts and wounds of an individual's life are stored.  After obtaining the healing, people report that they feel calmer, stronger, more able to solve their problems, and are better able to focus on what is important to them.

Mary Miller of the Gentle Wind Project will be in Ojai on Saturday, June 24th and Sunday June 25th at the Ojai Valley Women's Club, 411 Ojai Avenue.  Check out the OPEN HOUSE on Saturday, June 24 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm, in which anyone can use the latest healing instruments FREE.  Call Joan or Marianne at 805-654-4121.

Tantra of Beauty

Check out the free intro class, Tantra of Beauty, from local healer Erna Wolff, tonight, 6:30-9:30pm.  Contact Erna for more info - 805-640-0796.  If you dig it, its a six week series meeting every other Monday.

This class is for men and women who want to co-create a new paradigm for relationship based on unitive consciousness. Honoring uniqueness and working from cooperation allows relationship to become an experience of empowerment and transformation, of flow rather than friction. At this crucial moment of change on our planet, healing the familial and cultural patterns that inhibit our ability to be in mutuality frees us to move to the next evolutionary opportunity.

The Ojai Post

The Ojai Post is a community blog, featuring Ojai residents from all walks of life writing about the unique Ojai experience. Ojai is a special place, not just for its geography, flora and fauna, small-town architecture and rich native American history - its also because of the people - talented, creative souls who tend to walk to the beat of their own drummer and carve their own path through life. Check in for daily musings, rants, Ojai news and greater goings-on from the place some call Shangri-La.

Looks like I picked the wrong day to quit launching websites.  Happy March 1, Ojai.

From Ojai to Nepal

The latest message from recent Ojai residents Rob Buckley and Sharmila Mali, who have relocated to Nepal.  Check out their site HimalayanHealers.org, and see how you can get involved with their noble cause.

Namaste!

As many of you know, I've been working overtime, for free, for a very long time on this new passion, and it gives me great pleasure to announce our opening phase efforts!

We are building a Healing Arts School, Community Clinic, and Eco-Friendly Cultural Retreat working to preserve the rich history of healing and energy work in the Himalayas, specifically for the benefit of sponsored students from the Untouchable castes of Nepal.

The Himalayan Healers in Kathmandu, Nepal, is a Healing Arts School, Community Clinic, and Eco-Friendly Cultural Retreat working to preserve the rich history of healing and energy work in the Himalayas, specifically for the benefit of Sponsored Students: from the Untouchable castes, Victims of Human Trafficking, Internally Displaced due to the Ongoing Conflict, Freed Kamaiyas (former indentured servants or bonded laborers), and any others of Profound Need.

At the Himalayan Healers project we are training sponsored students to become "Himalayan Healers" in the arts of Ayurvedic, Tibetan, and Indigenous/Nepali massage techniques, supported by a foundation in Yoga, Meditation, and Reiki.
